Well darn! I was hoping we had a bit longer before the smoke invaded our beautiful valley again. I guess that was too much to hope for. Sigh!! I know it is part of the cycle of spring/summer now but it bites, just sayin….So my advice to y’all is to be a little more careful out there when you are doing anything strenuous outside! If you can minimise your time outside then do so. I know our valley seems to always get whatever weather is happening in the province travelling through it. Smoke is the same. Many years ago we even got ash from the volcanic eruption in Washington. Crazy!
I personally am heading out to buy a few more seeds and plants and am going to put a group of them near my door to try and filter the smoke that gets into the house! Heck that is what plants do right? I only have so many good windows to place them near so that makes a difference for me also. If I could I would have a little greenhouse in three or four spots in my home. Haha. Ohh maybe we need to go back to those homes that have atriums in them?? Sounds good to me! Maybe I will put a few plants on each side and also both inside and out of the doors. Might help? Seems logical to me.
I may also dig out a mask or two to have handy if I need to be out much. It helps stave off the headaches. I guess we all also need to be more aware of what types of things we need to take in emergencies. do you have a proper plan? I know I do not. But, I do have most important papers in one place and usually keep my vehicles fairly full of gas. That is something I guess. I could easily pack a few essentials in a little duffle and keep it handy. I may be one of those people who have lots of clothes so I guess I would not miss some….lol
I suppose we all will just grin and bear it!! Keep lots of water on hand, I find it helps! I hope you enjoy your week regardless! Cheers!
